What is a Booking Option?

Some products have special booking options attached to them. These options can take a number of forms. They can be upgrades, additional services, changes to the service that incur special charges or other complimentary services that are only available in conjunction with the booked service. For example, it is sometimes possible to book accomodation and then as an option have a special rail fare.
